I'll post pics when the wife's not around to make fun of me...:):

I'm new to AK's so I'm requesting links to your favorite AK parts suppliers; I'm specifically looking for a "Krinkov" style brake... the conical one.

Thanks, I hope to shoot her tomorrow!

Phil: I got it at 11 Gun Store in Clarksville, was $349. I could've done better online, but I wanted to check it out (for canted sights etc) before buying it. Also picked up a case of 1260 rounds for $300. Brass cased, magnet is NOT attracted to it. Sealed primers, too. I'll treat it as corrosive unless I can get a definitive answer.

Indy: Yep, I have that on my wish list already; the reviews seem OK. What I'm really looking for is an online company the has tons of AK parts... kinda like a Bravo Company for AK's. Thanks for the Rep!

$349 is not bad at all. Anything online you will still have shipping on top of the sale price. I doubt it would be any cheaper!

Those are cool little guns, I'd love to have one.

About the ammo, it sounds like the Yugoslavian surplus you see all over the net, and FYI it is corrosive.

Yes, it's Yugo M67 in the green wooden box. I googled it and I'm dealing with cleaning now. The red primer sealer is EVERYWHERE! Including our tub. The wife is not amused! Pics and vids to follow!

    Looks great.

It looks like it would shoot great off the hip, but how comfortable is it to use the sights. Also is there anyway to add a single point sling to the rear of the gun.

People on other sites say that the rear trunion is thick enough to drill and tap for a single point sling. I'll probably eventually go that route, but for now I'll just shoot it!:D

I just checked centerfire systems as well. As of right now they are not taking back orders, so I called to see what the deal was since I ordered one like 3 weeks ago. They are just trying to get caught up, once they do, your good to go again. :)
