    Guess I didn't realize I was in such magnificent and flawless company here. It appeared to me that he realized what the right thing to do would be and did it.

    Well, he "realized" after he was "caught." That is an important fact. After his secret was out, he eventually took the least painful course for all concerned - including himself. There was pain, but it could have been worse.

    We are entitled to expect principled behavior from our elected officials. IMHO.

    We are all sinners, so I am not judging. I've been in the company of death row inmates and selfless heroes. None have been totally evil or totally good.

    I say screw the past. It's a shame he's no longer sheriff, and it's shame we lost some AWESOME local training, but he's off to bigger and better things.

    I wish him the best, and I'd vote for him again.

    I love hypocrites.
    Ken did a lot more good for the community than bad. The things that happen behind close doors is between the man and his wife as already has been stated.
