How much cash should I bring? I'm guessing any shopping and dining on Nassau, I'll want cash. I imagine the markets and food joints take US dollars?

You'll want cash to negotiate a better price for sure.

You'd have to do some Googling to see if places take USD. we didn't have any issue spending a few USD when we went to the DR on our Honeymoon.

Also - take a Big Name CC with you. You may need it - and the protections it offers.

Call the CC company and let them know you are out of the country too. Cash is king. All cruise ports will take USD in the Caribbean.

We bring around $500 and bring some home.
