I have shot the Colobri out of a Marlin 25/925 (I think) Detachable mag. No problems yet. Way quite. Can actually watch the bullet through the scope. Not much range but will go through a hairspray can at 15 feet. And like I said stupid quite.

I went ahead a purchased a Marlin XT-22 with a wood stock and 7 round mag. $170 plus FFL fees.

Very very nice looking gun. Shoots well too. I've shot Aguila Super Colibris through it and they are all but silent. However, they don't feed well from the mag (I probably should have purchased the tube fed one, but I wanted a wooden stock).

The CCI CB Longs feed fine and are almost just as quiet. 25-50yards good accuracy with that ammo.

Everyone told me to go with a Savage with Accutrigger, but I went back to Marlin. My first gun 25 years ago was a Marlin 60 so I wanted one for the nostalgia :)
