I agree, I love Gioradnos, have been eating it my whole life, and as a kid, lived within walking distance of one.

But I'm just hoping there's some decent pizza here in NWI. thus far I've tried one place and it was AWFUL.

I'm not able to find an acceptable pie in Indiana.

Chicago's and Aviano's aren't too bad, but still doesn't entirely meet the requirements for my palate. I've heard that Snappy Tomato isn't bad, but haven't had the opportunity to try such yet.

As I'm from WNY (NOT NYC), a geographic region that many immigrants settled; my particular taste is rather unique, as a was exposed to a wide variety of ethnic food during my boyhood years.

Pizza Parlors in the Buffalo area not only produce a pie, but one would be hard pressed to find one that wouldn't also offer wings (served mild, medium, hot, and suicidal: With blue cheese dressing & celery and carrot sticks), and a variety of Submarine sandwiches. Probably the better place to go in that area, imho, is Blasdell Pizza.

The last time I visited the area, I purchased a half dozen pies, and a bucket of medium wings.

New bethel ordinary in wanamaker, or 'round the corner pub in new palestine. Some of the best I've had. A large pizza is like carrying a cinder block. They pile it on.

NBO is really good. You must go hungry though.

I've heard of Bob's Tu Your Door, think I might have had some. Is there one on the south east side?

I had a sausage, onion, pepperoni pizza delivered from the Bob's Tu Your Door on E 10th St in Indianapolis. My biggest wish afterwards was that Bob forget how to get Tu my door!!! It was one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. Tasted like :poop:.Crust tasted like cardboard, greasy cheese, bland sauce, no real flavor.:puke:
