    9.50 for us, but then again we got a check about a year back for being overcharged. I guess the state can't learn from its first mistake, and I know it won't be the last time they do this.

    I was thinking the same thing, a couple pole years back I received a check for $.43 back for overcharges at the BMV? That's maybe how the state meets the budget, overcharge at the BMV, and only refund money if you're caught?

    I checked the BMV site when this thread started. BMV site said I didn't have any refund due. I received an email from BMV this week that said I am owed money. I'm confused & I know they are confused so I think I'll let my $7 ride.
