That's definitely a good thing, but still too many people!

And the walking . . . I'd have to be one of those fat guys riding a mobility scooter that irritates self-righteous judgmental people!

Hmmm . . . maybe I DO want to go to Blade show after all . . .

Last year Ken Onion rode around in one of those mobility scooters, and nobody had a problem with it.......then again it was Ken Onion. :)

It's not his fault. I was supposed to "visit" the witness in exchange for some shiny new knives and I forgot.

No shiny objects for you mister!

Man, I'd really love to make it out there one year. I'm a knife nut, I'm sure it's amazing.

Go, at least for the Saturday its an easy 8 hour drive and you will not ever forget the experience if you buy anything or not. If you have been chasing a custom it is the best place to pick up Emersons and Hinderers due to their annual lotteries as well.

Rick is one of the premiere sword-smiths in the country he has an epic level of talent and has attended the last several Blade shows I believe as last year his "Fallout" folding knife was in pretty high demand.

Kinda makes me wish I was less of an ass back in high school. He was 2 years behind me in school. We both played trombone in the band and got in trouble together. We almost gave the band director a stroke.

    Yeah those are really impressive.

You want to check out something pretty cool? Go to the Dogwood Knives booth at Blade. Last year, the owner's son's work was on display. He made some really, really good stuff. His age? 11 freaking years old!!

Or are you blowing you knife money on watches?

I have the same issue. Watchs, knives, pens. All get funded from the same stash. Hard to decide some times.

Pens? Do tell. I've got a few (old) mont blanc pens from my father. I really really like Retro 51 pens for writing/signing at work.
