I have all the quality gear you could ever need for deer hunting except a good pair of Binoculars. I'm interested in getting a pair before this season that I would use for hunting/range time.

I hunt CRP so there are many stands that i can see 175 yards+ however, i also have a couple stands that max at 50 yards. I'm wanting to stay under $75 but obviously the cheaper, the better.

    Any good recommendations?

Quality pair, and under 75 dollars don't really belong together. At 75 dollars its going to be pretty blurry at 175 yds, especially if your trying to resolve a rack.

Thanks for the input Alan,I understand that they will not be top-of-the-line Bino's i'm just trying to get the best bang for my buck with the budget i'm working with.

I've been thinking about these two because I have read many great reviews on them but didn't know if any INGO members have experience with them?

Ive used the Permafocus, but never the legacy. Those binos are so big you will find they get in the way, and when you compare them to these at 159, you will see that its easily 75 extra bucks well spent as you will use them for many years. Also keep in mind the glass quality is MUCH better on the CS2 binos vs the permafocus. The permafocus don't have the glass quality to be much use as a range tool. 8x42's will transmit a noticeable amount of extra light when compared to 10x50's as well.

    Just food for thought sir.

I have the Nikon Monarch binocs and I like them a lot. I use them while hunting and sometimes at the range when shooting far away targets. But they weren't under $75 so I may not be much help.

I have 2 old pairs, Sears and Montgomery Wards, from the 70's or early 80's,made in Japan. Super clear optics, at LEAST as good as anything from Phillipines/China being sold nowadays, regardless of what label they may have on them. You can still find these at "used stuff" stores and pawnshops fairly easily, shouldn't need to spend over about $25. My 7x35 Wards are every bit as clear as my B.I.L.'s Swarovski 8x30s.

75 bucks will by a lot of beer but won't buy much in optics. Swallow hard and spend some money on a quality optic you'll be better off and have something that you can use some have rangefinders built in.

well, $50 bought me a nice pair of LNIB Bushnell Bino's. Couldn't have asked for a better deal for a great set of binos that do exactly what i need them to
