I still think this is all caused by him shaking the DNC down for money in exchange for quitting. Just the idea of it grinds a lot of dems gears and they can't say anything about it as it will further damage the party. Everything they and the media have said to counter the charges of corruption will be exposed as lies in addition to the air cover they have given him for his entire term over his abilities.

They are really in a box of their own making, stripping joe of his delegates at the convention and telling him to pound sand has horrible optics and is bad for the future, but so is paying him not to run. It would help if they had a deeper bench and more time, but they don't.
