I recently purchased my first Glock (19 Gen 4) and was wondering what the best ammunition to run through them is? Also, what are some to avoid?
Sounds reasonable enough.
I suppose I should elaborate since he's new and I don't want to come off as a dick.
What I mean is that it's a Glock, it'll eat whatever you feed it. Try a variety and find what ammo you prefer. The only ammo I ever had trouble with in any of my Glocks was Tula, and that was just because their primers suck. They tend to have at least 1 dead primer in every other box or so.
You're not really supposed to shoot lead through it because of the polygonal rifling, but other than that, go to town.
That's GOOD news! Means most of my stockpile isn't completely useless...I've ran over 1000 rounds of federal through my glock with not one issue. It's a g23 though.
