I spray my (Octane 9) baffles with MPro Cleaner & let them soak while cleaning whatever firearm was used. Then use elbow grease & Weaponshield to get them cleanish. I've yet to get them even close to as new. Silencerco video shows ultrasonic cleaner & they came out like new. I did try fireclean last time on 1-baffle & it was easier to clean. This time, expansion chamber & first 2 baffles finished with fireclean, we'll see what happens.

I have talked to people that use pure silicone oil.

    1. Completely clean the baffles.
    2. Heat them in the oven at 275 for about an hour.
    3. Using a large glass jar or something that will allow the baffles to completely be covered, slowly put them in until it cools to room temp.
    4. Let them drain on a pan.

    Wipe them down and reinstall.

I have guys tell me that even wipes clean after 22lr.

I got some coming, I'll post up what happens.

I use simple green and a ultra sonic cleaner from Harbor Freight. I will use a 50/50 solution of simple green and water, but you can use the simple green straight. I have a TAC-65 and a TAC-16 and clean them both the same way.
