lots of choices so I'd pick one the cheapest earthy tones, and also add some bungee cord to attach nearby natural veg when using it - no camo pattern can match that level of texture/3D

.....whatever works best for you. The animals really don't care. When I still hunted, even on our farm (now sold). I wore as much orange as I could. Here are some P42 frog skins I got to wear to the range occasionally. If hunting on public land, I worried more about other hunters.

When I first started bow hunting red/black plaid wool over shirt with blue jeans worked just fine for me. When it got colder an M65 woodland camo with a hooded sweatshirt worked too.

Gun season nowadays I dress to keep warm and from where I shoot from the deer aren't going to me unless I stand up and move

Based on recent studies, bluish colors stand out the most to deer, so for best the best concealment stay away from patterns with a lot of gray in them. I doubt color matters too much for concealing stationary objects from wildlife, anything that helps break up the outline of the objects will do the job.

Best camo pattern wholly depends on the environment you'll be in.

There are lots of environments in Indiana where people hunt - so, therefore, there are lots of "best" camo patterns.

    Whatever I find used.

Since it is old and the color washed out we have a nasty walnut tree I save some of the nuts and give that camo a soak in watered walnuts and it darkens out the white thread bare areas.

That gives it a nice walnut smell also.
