I would say Big G's BBQ in Avon, but once they moved their location, they had to close doors. I was very sad to see them go. I like Squealers as a second pick. Big G's will always be the best. I like to Kings Ribs off 16th street since I was raised off of them.

Yes, King Rib is a decent place for BBQ. It is actually on 16th street. That store does have better food than their other locations. I go there at least once a week for lunch, and I work at 96 & Michigan.....little bit of a drive. I like the fact that you can get the sauce on the side.

Yeah, that's the one. Agree with you about the sauce on the side, most places you can't taste the flavor of the meat cause of all the sauce they put on it. Their hot sauce is pretty good, but I find that most times I don't even use any sauce.

Maybe next time I can use the word sauce a few more times.

They SMOKE that? From the photo it looks like stewed meat. Like we used to have in school lunches. No offense, though.

Oh, my, yes they do. And when you are bicycling along the Monon Trail or get hassled for carrying at a coffee shop, you can smell the aroma of Heaven throughout Broad Ripple.

No, it's not stewed, it's just slopping over the sides with tenderness.

Look, I'm English*, I know all about boiled food.:D

*No, I'm not, but it's an inside joke here, O.K., more of a tradition.
