I am carrying my Bersa more often now that I have found an IWB holster that I like but the huge slide release is really hurting me, even through the thick leather of the holster. I have tried moving the rig from 3 O'clock to get it off of my hip but that damn slide release is still iritating as hell.
I intend to slim it down a bit but leave enough so it will still function as needed but before I procede I thought I would throw this up and see what any of you might have to say..

Have any of you have had this issue with any other brand pistol?

What if anything else can be done?

Any clue if I would be able order a new slide release I butcher this and it doesn't work out?

I don't see padding working very well but I might play around with something along those lines.

Has anyone tried bonding moleskin or something like that to the backside of a IWB for general comfort? (I'm not thinking that it would help my slide problem.)

    Thanks,

It is irritating you through the leather?

I would try slimming it down, moving it to 4:00 to 4:00 and then may be an undershirt or moleskin.

If that does not help, you may have to go with kydex.

    Good luck.
