    I’m getting contradicting information lol
If you are referring to the shipping statement, they were correct.

    Legal to:
-ship rifles or shotguns person to person in same state
-ship handguns or rifles to their local FFL, anywhere legal in US

“A nonlicensee may not transfer a firearm to a non-licensed resident of another state. A nonlicensee may mail a shotgun or rifle to a resident of their own state or to a licensee in any state.

The U.S. Postal Service recommends that long guns be sent by registered mail and that no marking of any kind which would indicate the nature of the contents be placed on the outside of any parcel containing firearms.”

Little more into the weeds, but you can buy a firearm from a neighboring state individual in person transferring at FFL, but if it’s not a bordering state, it needs to be mailed to your local FFL.

I was attempting to be succinct and leave the licensed dealers out of the purchase, which is what I thought you were asking.

No reason to resist a licensed dealer if you need to ship.
Most have a modest set fee you pay for the services.

Just my personal preference, but especially if moving parts of your collection on GB, much easier to ship it yourself to their FFL with an FFL copy and copy of your ID in the box. Whether it’s shipped from you or an FFL, outcome is the same if their fail a background check. The receiving FFL has checked it into their inventory and now owns it.

    Welcome to INGO!
I would normally tell you to read the rules but, based on your introduction...you already did.
    Nice intro BTW.
