I wish I could get away with that, but with a total of ten mouths in my house and the youngest one eating anything you put in front of him, I need 6-8 cows and 25 or more pigs. (We eat a lot of BACON!)Hear Hear! Buy a 1/4 cow from a farm by Franklin and a 1/2 hog from Columbus every year. It's a hell of a lot cheaper than the stuff you buy at the store, safer, and if taken to the right processor, tastes a lot better too.
Now that I think of it, short of getting beef or pork from a restaurant, that's the only place I get my meat from (other than deer hunting season).
