"NO LOADED FIREARMS IN THE BUILDING"? So they want to ban CC & OC there? If that's the case, NO THANKS!
I don't go to many gun shows but for the ones I have been to, this is common. They don't want Cletis pulling out his firearm to see if that holster fits (and stuff like that).yeah seems weird to ban guns at a gun show, haha

This has been a common practice for many decades at gun shows. Even with this rule, it is not unknown to have some idiot have a negligent discharge."NO LOADED FIREARMS IN THE BUILDING"? So they want to ban CC & OC there? If that's the case, NO THANKS!
I don't think it is a Straight Shooters show.Is this a straight shooters show or different? If there are new faces I might try to go. If it's same vendors as ss I may skip. Would like to see Brian's surplus.

No, I'm telling you that there are a few careless, stupid people who don't follow rules (even the four major safety rules of gun handling).Well, you're telling me that "no guns signs" don't work? What a shock!
I have never in my entire life been to a gun show that allowed the public to carry loaded firearms. I've been to over 1,000 different gun shows."NO LOADED FIREARMS IN THE BUILDING"? So they want to ban CC & OC there? If that's the case, NO THANKS!
It is NOT Straight Shooters, it is CIG. Probably 90% will be different dealers than SS. I talked to the promoter today and he said that there are considerably more tables than he had the last time we were there (about 5 or 6 years ago).Is this a straight shooters show or different? The problem is that too many people that would normally be reasonably safe might be at a show and think, "I wonder if my gun will fit in this holster", or, "let me see if this magazine fits". If everyone was smart enough to keep loaded weapons holstered, it would not be an issue. Gun shows are places that people are MUCH more likely to be trying holsters and accessories. If they allowed loaded firearms, I probably would not go. I've seen how the general public handles firearms...
Yes, but all display firearms are made incapable of firing a live round at the NRA exhibitions. Since apparently you haven't been to a gun show and don't intend on going, why do you care? Nobody is twisting your arm to force you to attend?I've been to the NRA gun show / exhibits and they do not prohibit (loaded) carry.
