I dont know if I would trust a WalMart AR. Im not real intelligent as far as AR's go... But I know a lot of crap from Walmart is poorly/if assembled at all, and parts are cheaply made. Could be bad news for some unsuspecting person. That or the low price could mean some jackwagon with just enough money, and not enough brains gets their grubby hands on one, and well we see where thats heading.....

Do they make ARs in China?

Yep. What, you've never seen a Norinco Model 311?

By the container full.:D Money goes straight to the princelings.

It's called the CQ 5.56, marketed in North America and Europe as the M311. Saw combat use in Afghanistan in the hands of the Turks and Taijiks in the north during the Soviet invasion and occupation.

A little birdie told me that the west side WM in Columbus (out by 65) is getting their stock of long guns in. They should be selling soon. Management has gone through their training for it. It should be soon that they'll start selling.

Guess I'll have to see what's going on in my local Walmarts. My guess is they are too close to urban centers, even though none are in Marion county. ie: Avon, Plainfield, Lebonon and Brownsburg. I could see the Lebanon store, in Boone County gettting them before anyone. Let's hope. Something new to look at.:D
