Save some $$ and go with a AR-50. I love it and less then half the price so it's twice the fun right :-) Mine is a single shot bolt action. No complaint's other then the $3.50 a round. But if you can't afford to pay you shouldn't own one.

What a rush to shoot. I have some hi res video I took with my Iphone I need to have reformated, compressed and post some where. The muzzle blast cleared everything off a range table a few lanes over lol.

Saw the same rifle when I was in there... Also looked at a used Mauser handgun that I had never seen before and then Bob asked, "Hey, are you going to buy this ya little sh*t?"

    :n00b:

Walked out and will only see them at the 1500......

First find out why its priced low. M82 is a great fun gun but if you are
Target shooting consider a bolt gun. M99 with scope new for $4000.
Or get one of each like I did. (M82A1 and State Arms single shot.)

    My 2cents worth.

Ohio Ordnance Works had some M82's they refurbished last year. I think they sold for around 6,000. They looked brand new and sold out pretty fast. If it has there stamp it's one of their's.

Could you tell us what that means for all of us non 50 BMG people?

It means that its the bullpup design and that .50 bmg round is going off right by your cheek. It makes you feel like you've been punched in the face for a few seconds afterward, you feel it in your sinuses.

I know what it feels like with the bolt forward mounted on my AR50. It gives me a headache after3-4 rounds as it is! Yeah I bet that could make your nose run lol!!
