Fletch said exactly what I was going to. Yes, Sodrel was a dissappointment. Especially from a pro liberty standpoint. He was a consummate drug warrior who never passed up a chance to harm people with his legislation. He voted a number of times against individual liberty and in support of the state.

Eric didn't cost him the election. He lost it all on his own. Eric just happened to be a better candidate than him.

Really? Name the votes. Which ones? When? Eric a better candidate? Why did he get 42% less of the vote then?

We haven't a good Representative since Hostetler left. This area is a prime example of why we need 'a none of the above option on election day'.

Then what would happen? No representation - but you'll still get taxation.

There has to be somebody down there worthy of the responsibility.

I'll get you started, but don't have time to get into it all:

An amendment to prohibit any funds made available in the Act to the Department of Justice from being used to prevent the States of Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Vermont, or Washington from implementing State laws authorizing the use of medical marijuana in those States.

Typical GOP drug warrior, seems to me.
