Ach. I have been buying bacon from Smoking Goose for a bit now and did not get by to pick some up so bought my old standby, platter bacon at Marsh, that I always liked before. Dang, I have been spoiled. When that was gone I was going to go to the Smoking Goose but it was closed today so I went to the Goose Market. The bacon sliced there to order costs more but I just wanted some good bacon.

The difference is that store bought bacon is brined which shows when you cook it.

If you get the chance, pick up some Hot Coppocola. Awesome for samiches.

They also sell cartons of a dozen Duck eggs I want to try sometime.
