Back from the SHOT show...

Las Vegas was great as usual. I don't care what anyone says, they pump oxygen into the casinos. There is simply no other explanation for why I can drink that much, sleep that little and not get a hangover of any significance.

Spent enough on food/drinks to buy a new AR15, lost a few bucks at the games, picked up some cool stuff and finally got to put a lot of faces with names of guys I've talked to for years. Even met a few guys you might recognize.

Didn't really see much that blew my skirt up. Troy has a new PDW coming out which is pretty slick, allowing for a 5.56 AR style rifle with a much shorter stock and overall length. Still a great show but I'm glad to be home...

I never can get used to the time switch between here and Vegas. Out there I'm ready to eat supper at 3:00 pm, and no matter how hard I try I"m always ready to go to bed by 9:00.

I agree with you about the casinos pumping oxygen in. I've spent hours at the tables downing adult beverages non stop and then the next day wake up feeling just fine. No way that happens for me anywhere else.

Spent one evening drinking with Frank and John from USO. I didn't spend much time at the AI booth, just stopped in to talk witty Derrick Bartlett for a minute.

SHOT was an endurance race this year. I am really worn out. I did, however, do very well with the schwag this year, bringing home 20 PMAGs among other assorted goodies.
