If someone's tailgating me I do that. Otherwise, if they're close and I need to slow down I hit the hazards and slow down. Does it make everyone around me realize that their is something going on? Nope. Does it make everyone behind me zip around me? Yep. Oh well, whatever works.

Yes I've noticed a lot of people do just speed around me but that's their business. As long as I've done my best to warn other drivers and I keep myself out of danger then I'm happy. I don't want to see anyone else get into an accident and get hurt but it isn't my fault if they don't pay attention. My main goal is getting home safely to my family.

Yep. I've had my share of those idiots jumping around me then slamming on the brakes. I've never hit any of them, but I have seen a few of them get hit.
