well if that doesn't sell you on the .223 cartridge nothing will...that guy ws the only one consistantly on target...The AK guy need sreal instruction on how to shoot....ditto on the HK misfires.....:noway:

So maybe it can't shoot with a breech full of sand but give me the M16, at least I know I will hit what I aim at!!!!:patriot::patriot:

Yes because M16/AR15/M4's have tighter tolerances. So you are going to have increased accuracy. However it requires more maintenance. More likely to jam if subjected to sand, mud etc. Also with firing a 55 grain bullet you can expect to have less recoil. Full auto is good for two things.

    1. Covering fire
    2. Fire superiority

However you sacrifice accuracy. Hence that's why the new M16/M4 have the three round burst. Now the AK has looser tolerances. Hence it can handle more abuse from your environment, snow, mud, etc. By that though you sacrifice some accuracy. With a heavier 122 grain 7.62x39 you can expect more recoil. I do not know much about the .308, so I do not know what a standard load is. However again heavier bullet, you can expect more recoil. They all have their strengths, and weaknesses. With a properly sighted AK, I would prefer it for shots 100 yards and closer. Do to it's heavier round. In a SHTF situation, I would grab the AK. Less worry about maintenance, and higher tolerances to adverse conditions. Now if I was shooting 100 yards plus, I would prefer the M16/AR15 platform. My :twocents:

The HK91/G3 series generally has more felt recoil than it's counter parts in the same caliber due to the delayed roller blowback system. Also the large mass of the stock HK bolt carrier.

I like how the first two guys are firing from the hip :n00b:, and the last guy does a TERRIBLE job firing from the shoulder.

Yeah. The AK guy was a pathetic shooter. I've only once had a chance to fire a f/a AK and did not notice that it kicks a lot with the heavy bolt movement and hence it's hard to stay on target but still this clip makes the AK way worse than it really is.

I have not yet had a chance to fire a G3 but I would expect it to be hard to stay on target just due to the powerful cartridge and the heavy bolt flying backward with every shot. Just my :twocents:
