    Yeah I have been corrected already they are referred to as “points” I am learning what a fun past time just another thing to look for outdoors

    If they are still young enough to fall for it, tell um to keep looking for the shaft, it has to be close by...lol.
    But what a cool find. Get a display case, so it doesn't get lost over the years. We lost things like that we found as kids, wish we had preserved them somehow.
    Have you seen where they are finding spears in tact up in the high elevation where snow is melting off? Look it up, cool stuff.

    Anyone know anything about arrow heads? (or spear or knives) My youngest found this yesterday. I am mostly interested in figuring out how to date it….and what it was used for?
    Looks like a bottleneck/Tablerock type. Where did she find it? State?

    That is an interesting color on that chert.....what part of the state were you in when they found it???? Canada, flat or beautiful God's country in the southern hills????
