Arrowheads?

Anyone know anything about arrow heads? (or spear or knives) My youngest found this yesterday. I am mostly interested in figuring out how to date it….and what it was used for?

Both my kids were extremely excited I told them they are unlikely to find a better one lol they were skipping rocks after that it turned into a hunt lol

That's what makes it so cool, to think you are the first person to hold it in over perhaps 1k+ years. Then to think of making a living and surviving with a knapped rock. Imagine processing a deer with one . No thanks.

If they are still young enough to fall for it, tell um to keep looking for the shaft, it has to be close by...lol.
But what a cool find. Get a display case, so it doesn't get lost over the years. We lost things like that we found as kids, wish we had preserved them somehow.
