It used to cost $10 dollars, not sure if it is the same or if it has gone up.
Pay the fee, then it will show your post count at 50, and you can access the classifieds. I just did the 50, it wasn't that hard. I wouldn't worry too much about the gun you're after, they don't move on here that quick. And if it is a super good deal they disappear pretty quick, so you wouldn't have much of a shot anyway.
