Found this site while searching for a link to a new magazine...
Me, I have over 27 years of active military service and am now retired. Got bored with High tech weapons and now shoot mostly old or old pattern single shots. Killed a Bison Bull last month in NM with a 50-70. Shot him through the lungs. Broke a rib going in and one coming out, dropped within 25yds of where I shot him. Guide wanted a heart shot but at some point during the hunt told me about having to chase a "heart-shot" bull over a mile. I think the old hide hunters knew more than today's guides.
