Was 1968 when the felon restriction came into being?
As a federal law, but several of the colonies...then states, had such restrictions going back to the beginning of the country.

There is no doubt, in my military mind, that this happened.Overheard while waiting to purchase a firearm at Evansville RK
“That one” (points to purple pistol)
”You gotta dew the papers I got a gun charge” (talking to wife/girlfriend)
”I have drug warrants” (she doesn’t wanna risk it)
”call your mom” (calls mother)
”she will be here in a few she will do it for $20”
I'm embarrassed to admit this, but I thought the title was referring to plastic straws. That's how f'ed up the world is, having to worry about the ability to use a damn straw.
When you are done snickering, please carry on.
Wait... does that mean you don't agree with the first part? Is it the part about me being king?

Straws are the symptom that really came to light due to a turtle with one wedged firmly in it's nose.

Since it was purple, they were probably being sarcastic.
Make your case. I may vote for you.

I had never thought about it, but do dealers have to keep dinied 4473's? Entered into their bound book the same as approved ones?

Just left Ted's Montana Grill. Only straws they had were paper ones on the table. Opened one... realized it.... then tossed it aside like the trash it is.
Also James Hinchcliffe walked in and had lunch.
If I were king, it'd be like the olden days. (Except instead of Montgomery Wards catalogs, we'd be buying straight from Bud's and sent to our homes directly). Buuuuutttttt....since that's not likely to ever happen, I much prefer strictly enforcing existing laws rather than inventing new ones.
