I’ve got the 5 loaner crossbows form TenPoint set up and ready. 3 Titan Xtremes and 2 Titan HLXs.. Taking along my TenPoint GT Flex and TenPoint Stealth SS too.

We will be running close to 100 kids through the week long camp at CampBrosend in Newburgh, Indiana.

Last year the Archery camp USA did a survey of the kids as to what they liked and didn’t like about the camp. Shooting crossbows was the second most liked after actually going out on the Ohio River to bowfish.

This young lady was one of the better shooters at camp last year. Here she is with a Robin Hood..

Working with one of our youngest – 5 years old

One of five Robin Hoods .

A six year old that shot a 10X at 30 yards. He did a “happy dance” for us!

The “Crossbow Challenge” shoot. The eventual winner is on the left. Good shooting form.

We had eleven 10X shooters at 30 yards. We then moved back to a “split yardage” of 35 yards for the second elimination round.

At 35 yards we had one shooter hit the 10X ring and one shooter hit the 10 ring. They won first and second place. This was the second place shooter shooting what was unknown to them – the first place prize crossbow. He is a left hander but shot right handed so he could depress the forearm safety. He still shot a 10X at 35 yards.

Two extremely tough shooters. You can see their 35 yard group in the target between my legs.

It was a GREAT week. Each camper got to shoot the crossbow at least 15 times. 67 X 15 equals a LOT of crossbow shots …and cocking. I’m tired, but it is a good tired..

Looking forward now till next year..

To kind of give you an idea of how many kids we had and how it was like "herding cats" to get the group picture..

Click on the picture to get the video...

I'll post the picture when I get it from the camp photographer..
