How important is a 7075 buffer tube compared to a 6061. I have ar's but am finally throwing my first build together. I've got a milspec 6061 to put on for the time being, but should I be planning to swap to 7075 or is it not really that important for those of us not smashing doors with it?

I agree too if that's what you have, use it, unless it's gonna see hard use.

But I would use a milspec 7075 buffer tube if I was doing a build and didn't already have one of any kind and needed to get one. YMMV
