    A 20 doesn't stick out that far.

    Why not custom build your own magazines? Take any 20 or 30 rounder, and trim it from the bottom up, bending your own little tabs to hold the base plate open. Over at arfcom, there was a subject of NY, who made his own 7 round mags this way.

    I used to know a guy with a machine shop in his garage that could probably cut a 20 down to any length you wanted, Re-bend the mag bottom, cut the spring and replace the floor plate further up.

    Unfortunately he and all his equipment just moved to cali. But that is the only thing I can think of.

    You know anyone with a machine shop and a brake? It really should not be that hard.

    Notice I did NOT say that cheap. He would have charge you "200-500" bones for it. But that would have included modeling, CNC programing, and labor.

    appreciate the responses. i can use 20 rounder, and not too long but all i have is a bunch of 30's and a 10 so was trying to get ideas which you all have provided and thank you....daryll
