I'm with ya right now on the "not a whole AR" yet. I've got my next one started. Spikes matched set. This one is definitely getting a 13" Giessle MK4 rail. Can't decide if it's gonna be a 16" or 18" gun. That will also dictate what optic I go with.

Thanks.....kind of what my intent was...working man's rifle. Also works a lot better that I got my Eotech to power up again. Old army trick of a pencil eraser and sand paper got it working again
