Is that paracord on your KMR or something else? I plan on doing some paracord work on my KMR, but I'm afraid of it melting. What say you?

Similar to paracord. It's the Warsport LVOA Rail Bungee. It adds a slight bit of rigidity to grip the rail better. For 10 bucks (plus shipping) its a cheap piece of gear worth trying out. On my last KMR I ran three mags through one after another and no sign of melting. I'm pretty sure they say on the website what it can withstand. I know Chris Costa uses their complete rifle and it has the Rail Bungee on it. He does classes and runs his all day and I haven't seen him have problems with melting.

I was wondering that as well. I would imagine that mag dump without ear pro would make anyone deaf in an instant.
