Some of us open carry in restaurants frequently in Terre Haute. We've never had a problem at Red Lobster, Ruby Tuesday, the Arby's at SR46 and I-70, or Sam's Steakhouse (which is closed now). I've been in other places with no issues either, but I don't frequent them.

I think its funny that just because someone remotely knows a cop, they think that they are some kind of authority on the law.
