I have had two frames now for years. I think you need to step up into a carbine stock and super 16 inch barrels. If you think you love the pistol wait till you get your hand on a kight single shot rifle.

Some that surprised. me were the 7mm tcu and the 7-30 waters. Most be something about the 7mm bullets.

The only barrel i had trouble with was a 45-70 and I believe someone shot lots of blackpowered loads with it. I just vould not get it to group with anything.

Super 16 .35 Rem is what my lil rifle wears.
I'll buy another easy open older frame and set it up as a reg 14" .35 Rem handgun.
No swappin' just get another gun :)

Where did you find that butt-stock/pistol grip? And how much?
I would love to put my super 16 45/70govt in front of that!

Don't know what the source is on that stock, but it is nice....Choate also makes a side folder for the TC. I shot a TC in metallic sil for years with the 7mmTCU ( wildcat - necked up/fire formed .223 case to 7mm ) chambering.....shot like a laser out to 200 yds.....have a 35 rem that I hunt deer with and a JDJ 375 "hand cannon" that I have killed Elk with.

    Nice!

I have an older contender and 4 barrels.

    1: octagon .22
    2: T/C scoped .35 rem super 16
    3: octagon .45/410
    4: .45-70 super 16

I have been looking for a walnut carbine stock to use on the .35 and .45-70, but the prices are outrageous.

Would also like to get a .556 super 16 barrel.

I had a 9mm barrel back in the day, but unfortunately, I traded it off fo rthe .22 octagon barrel since I wasnt into the 9mm at the time. Stupid, Stupid!:(
