I did not get the email, but I saw the link on another forum. I have not used the Ruger website recently but I did register my 10/22 with them electronically. Seems Ruger is not the source.

Are any of you using the Walmart electronic notification system for ammo availability? I signed up for it but it does not function—have not received even one notice—but they have my email address. Anyone else?

I got the email also. I haven't sign up for anything gun/ outdoor related, except the NRA and here at INGO. Most of my online shopping is done at Amazon or Walmart.

I got one too and can't figure out how I got selected. Visiting websites is almost like filling out a form to win a free trip.

I doubt we will ever know who/how they got our addresses. It just caught my attention as I receive very little spam. I'm always particular of who I give my address to. I specifically look for a site's "promise" to not sell or share my address. Of course I do realize the promise is always a gamble.

Basically, I'm curious as to whether I screwed up or someone broke their "promise".

Just received it. In the properties of the email it reads.

    Message-ID: <0000013f82462d54-614cb012-47ef-4e78-91a6-c4159f29fdfb-000000@email.amazonses.com>

Looks like Amazon might be the culprit.

They just use Amazon's infrastructure to do their mailing. Amazon Simple Email Service (Amazon SES)
