Somebody asked about 1187 barrels on another thread and you flubbed it.
Maybe you should change your screen name to hide the butthurt.
But don't go with a snake one, since you were wrong on that one too.

I've used Hevi 13 #6s 3 1/2" and an Indian Creek choke (.665 I think) in my 870 with great results. 50yd shots are no problem. My wife's 3" 12gauge 870 with a sleeved barrel patterns the #7 HS very well at 40yds. and beyond.

I guess its a no on the turkey sandwich. Thats ok...go ahead starve. Makes no difference to me.

I sure hope you normally do not stalk men often on here...thats just screams weird!

Thanks for the info T3T :)

I've been running a .665 Superfull Remchoke with HV #4's in 3" since 2002 in a couple of 870 Supermags and now an 1100 SP (previously used a fixed full choke shiny/minty 1100 Magnum and 3" #5's). Didn't like taping the gun up, or pellets in the breast ;)

Tested about a dozen choketubes some time back, got pretty beat up over the course of 2 days. Some a bud had were $$$$ too. Also tried at least 5 different loads, all 3" though.

For the money I found the Remchoke Superfull and the HS Undertaker hard to beat (4 or 5's lead).
Kinda glad it's close to what Hevi Shot recommends for their 5's :)

I got a couple boxes of the Magnum Blend Hevi-Shot on special at the NWTF show.

What I've shot I MUCH prefer my old Ntros 4X5X7s. Pattern is tighter at all distances.

The furthest I've shot the Nitros at a turkey is 52 yards and he was DRT.. I use a rangefinder to make sure that the bird hits that magic 50 yard mark before trigger pull.

This is 3 inch shells with a scoped 870 using a Rhino .665 choke..
