    Replace the hammer, sear and disconnector with McCormick or Ed Brown parts. :D

    That's what I did... went with Ed Brown "Hardcore" stuff from Brownells. Didn't need it, but I like the looks.

    I hate to be reminded of it, but my original Taurus was getting to the point where it was shooting almost as well as my Springfield TRP. That just ain't right... :xmad:

    PT1911 is great!

    I have a blued PT1911 and have had nothing but fun with it. I disassembled it to do some polisting when I got it home, looked at it and everything I would have tweaked was already done. It has been a great gun at any price.
