Some of it is the way that Jeep makes the shift linkage. In my ZJ it was connected to both body and trans, so if the motor moves a lot it can pop it out of gear.

The big thing I don't like about the Badlands is that you have to be out of the park by 5pm.

had fun in this little snow storm.. the land rover / jeep / whatever did AWESOME. pushed a girl out of some snow by hand.. then pulled a beamer out of a snowbank.. didnt even tip me.. kinda disrespectful when a tow truck will run you 125.

My Jeep was garaged in the storm in my fiance's garage while we were in her Roque in Mississippi, New Orleans and Alabama (still in alabama). Probably by the time I get home on Saturday the snow will be gone.

Is the needle even moving? That looks really low. Which is either really good, or a broken connection somewhere.

I'm usually up closer to 1.5. If you are really at about 1.2 across all channels, I'd say you nailed it.

I THOUGHT that might be you. I meant to stop and say "hello", but was always pretty busy. Heck, I think I might have checked you in at the gatehouse (that was all a blur - I'm not a morning person).

Thanks for coming out! Looks like you guys had a great time.

Your welcome, and we did have a blast...now my suspension is shot to the point of the rear wheel starting to tuck under the rear wheel well.

I want a JK Unlimited Rubicon.

My wife is starting to save for one. She wants to replace her Saturn next year. Who am I to question her? :D

They aren't really even all the impractical for a small family. Seating for 4 or 5, a little cargo room, and even a little towing capacity. Mileage isn't all that great, but you are still driving a box on wheels. I'd rock one in a heartbeat.

My wife says a paid off 2-door TJ is better than a newer 4-door JK.

Psh, what does she know? I think she only says that because she wants to trade her G6 for a Jeep Grand Cherokee :D

I want to rock one :(

    Having the payment would suck.

We'll pay cash. When we paid off the last vehicle a while back, we just kept "paying" ourselves. If we watch our expenses this year, we should have enough for a nice, used JK next year (and selling my wife's Saturn).

I'm trying to convince her to get a hardtop. While not as "fun" as the ragtop, it is probably more practical for us.
