well, it is a true 4 piece, but its US made, and its made longer specifically for the purpose of making a 12" rifle meet the 16" rule. You can still take it apart like a regular bulgarian 4 piece.

    CNC Warrior makes these.

They are good quality stuff too. I have a faux version on an slr107cr for now, serves as a barrel cover. All I need to do is swap out the inner sleeve for a cone, have the barrel cut down to 12" and have it pinned and welded.

Thanks for the thread Clay - it is indeed a semi-sad day!

Its going to a fellow Ingo'er - just a bit up the road.

This was my first ever semi-auto rifle and my 3rd ever firearm. :rockwoot:

I say semi sad as I will again one day own a 105 as I truly consider them to be the ultimate AK ever made.

the good news is that this is being sold to finance another project for RS Regulate - one that should also be a really sweet end result.

    :ar15:

It's a steal of a deal at $1300 - AND DTruck is also getting one of only 3 AKML's that were done as a color test for ceracote testing last year. :ingo:
