India Sizzling in Fishers is very good. Just south of 116th on the east side of Allisonville. May be a little far north but it is about the best I can think of.

I'll third the India Sizzling. Very good food and friendly owners/staff.

I judge my ethnic food places, in part, based on the number of ethnic folks eating at the restaurant. India Sizzling passes this test.

Are reservations needed? How much does it cost?

If you are going for lunch, no reservations needed. I doubt that you would need them for dinner either. I have only had the lunch buffet and it was around $10-11 as I remember. I believe there is a link to the menu in my previous post. Hope you like it!

    FYI they are closed Mondays.

Amber has an great buffet. Last I was in India Sizzling the buffet was smaller, but they may have expanded. Always liked them for sit down, though.

The best buffet is downtown indianapolis at ohio and delaware. The best "home cooked" indian is off of main street in greenwood.

Do you mean the new one next to Mark Pi's in the little strip mall?
I've not eaten there yet, I go to the "Clay Oven" in the Walmart strip mall on US31, it is by far the best Indian food in Indy, and I've eaten at all of them except that new one.

I have been in the kitchen at Amber Indian.... It is not sanitary by any standard! The only kitchen nastier is the Super China Buffet at 31 and fry rd.

Went there yesterday at 4:00, and they were closed until 5:30. Their website doesn't mention that. Went around the corner to a Thai restaurant and spent $130 on dog food, it was NASTY.
