When me and my wife got married 20 years ago, I had not been to a dentist for eleven years, and that was to have an abcessed wisdom tooth pulled. So she gets me to go to her dentist for a checkup, everything is great, no cavities, gums are in great shape, it’s just amazing how great my teeth are since I hadn’t used their magical services for so long. They say “come back in 6 months and we’ll get you on a yearly cleaning schedule”, so like a fool, I agree and schedule an appointment 6 months out.

Six months later, I go in for my cleaning and all of a sudden I have something wrong with my gums, and they say they need me to come back in three months, and guess what, three months later I have a cavity that needs fixed!

Total ****ing scam. Only been once since then to have a root canal on a tooth that was killing me, and that didn’t work, so I told him to pull it so I could get the hell out of there. Then they tried to sell me a $4000 implant to replace a tooth that was way in the back and nobody can tell that it’s missing.
Just read another article that 100% of root canal teeth are infected. While it may mot cause an issue it is still releasing into the body.

I believe there are a few good medical systems such as Cleveland Clinic (first hand experience with my wife - they literally saved her life when St Vincent's had jacked her up over a number of years and then gave up on her) and Mayo Clinic (saw it with my dad for what turned out to be end of life care after St Vincent's basically pushed him out the door). These places assist in connecting the dots to get people the care they need with specialists, etc.

Then there is everyone else and those places are transactional, only care about that co-pay and couldn't connect the dots to save your life (literally) and are more than content to keep trying the same things and expecting a different result until they shrug their shoulders and push you out the door.

I wonder if the so called private hospitals have a major make a buck at all costs issue? I’ve given up on the local places after numerous back surgeries.
So, after a lot of research, and time making contact, I’m heading to the Cleveland Clinic in October for a complete review and hopefully obtain a REAL solution to my low back issues and constant debilitating pain.

Cleveland clinic!!! Well we will have to look into this. My wife has had full body swelling for two years now and many surgeries on arteries later still there! A test that do say nothing is wrong but something is obviously wrong!!!
