Uh... anyone else notice the irony of "Mayan" theater?

If it weren't so serious, I'd think it was an Onion news alert....

This won't of course make the national news. The saving of innocent lives by an armed onsite person does not fit their political narrative.

Agreed. This exemplifies why gfzs should be eliminated. Good to the deputy! I bet it gets spun as just a cop doing his job. Which is true but he is an armed citizen.

This is making the rounds on e-mail as well. I got it a few times today from different people. Glad to see it might get spread around a little, and we will never see it on our news...

Well...here are 2 stories in one week. The mall shooter last week shot himself when a CCW pulled his weapon. Even though the CCW did not fire. Apparently the shooter decided that rather than get in a fire fight with someone else who is armed, he would commit suicide.

Both of these incidents are factual evidence that we need more guns in the hands of law abiding citizens rather than less. But don't expect to see this or last week's story in the national press. This does not fit the story they want to portray to everyone.

Save those articles. Good ammo to throw if an anti-gunner spouts out "No mass shootings have ever been stopped by a CCW!"
