Another good OC encounter

As many OCers can attest to, OC brings with it the occasional opportunity to interact with others, whether that be in educating or just conversing with other gun owners. Today I went to get my oil changed in South Bend and while waiting, I walked to the Burger King next door to get some lunch. When I walked in, I noticed an older gentleman (late 60's) looking at me, but didn't pay much attention to him. As I was eating, he got up to leave and when he walked by my table he said "Its good to see you packing. Thank you."

Just thought I would share as I thought it was nice to see that not every OC encounter is a bad one.

Friend went CC, I went OC. Haven't been OCing for very long and jackets this time of year cover up firearm, so no encounters yet. I also wear black jeans most of the time so black nylon holster and black Hogue Monogrip, the only thing that doesn't blend in is nickel backstrap.
Nice to know there are people like that out there like that gent.

I think that the majority of people are pro-gun. It is just the minority is louder and has more media with which to spew.
