That reminded me of a hunter safety course I took at one of La Porte's forest preserves.
The fat man was giving a very in-depth lecture on gun safety and safe handling.
ALL the time he was bouncing his shotgun up and down on his toe.
I used to know an old boy, steel worker, who'd shoot skeet with a 12ga Remington 870 holding it at arms length with one hand. I was a youngster and they were probably low brass loads but he sure as heck could do it. And hit most of the clays as I remember.
If this guy had held it against his face he'da been alright. His mistake was giving the gun a running start.
