I just scored the most amazing deal on gunbroker. So I was lookin to buy my first nickel revolver. But I wanted the finish to be close to mint condition. Well I find a S&W model 15 on GB for $400 no reserve. Pics are a bit dark and description is breif. Seller has good feedback so I e-mail him asking if there are any blems - he replies no that he has owned it a couple years and never shot it. This is a 30+ year old gun but even with the dimly lit pics it looks pretty good with original box as well. So I take a chance and $400 later I go to my FFL today and as I unwrap it both of our jaws hit the floor. What I see before me is an unfired NIB glowing nickel smith beaming up at me. All original, all papers even the wax paper and even the original cleaning kit! Serial #s match through and through. My FFL agent gasps and says I have never seen one that nice and comments he'd never shoot it. I am actually shaking a bit as I caress this lovely piece of work. I do believe I have just acquired a family heirloom and I have my first collector quality S&W:rockwoot:

THANKS!!! Sorry for being so ignorant but what is an IMG code???:dunno:

On Photobucket.com it looks like this.
    photobucket_1.jpg

You hover your mouse over the image and the menu appears. You highlight the IMG code and then copy/paste it into your thread on :ingo:

Sorry - my example is not a gun pic . . . :dunno:

Edit: sorry - looks like someone just beat me to it.
