On one hand clerics disown him for hijacking their religion. Then there are others who are upset that he didn't receive the proper burial. Were there not Muslims in the twin towers who's bodies burned, never to be found? Where was the outcry for them? Does it really make a difference where or how Osama's remains were buried. He's dead and likely attending an eternal pig roast.

From what we've been told, the man's burial was dignified. Those who wanted a perfect burial should have ratted out OBL and used the reward money to arrange a "proper" funeral.

They keep talking about the DNA and never say that they did the old test with fingerprints. If this was bin Laden's son that they had they would have had the same DNA but would not have had the same fingerprints. Surely they did take his fingerprints, but they are not saying they did. After confirming the identification of the body, they were unable to find a country willing to take the body. In order to reduce the potential fuel for potential retaliatory strikes the body was buried within 24 hours of death as per Muslim traditions. Since no country would take it the only viable option was a burial at sea in international waters.

I don't see what's so hard to follow with that logic.

Nonetheless, you are right. Bin Laden is worse than any dirt bag I can think of, and did not deserve a burial of any kind! He should have been beheaded and have his body thrown out!
