Refinishing the stock on my first AK. Looking pretty awesome. Got a killer deal on a straight WASR, and couldn't pass it up Will post the finished pics when I'm done, and then again when I buy the ultimak gas block.

Really liking the way this turned out. They apparently filled a chip in the wood at the factory, I don't care though. It looks 100% better than the plain blonde unfinished crap that came with it

I am fairly certain I have the AK bug

My first AK47, a Zastava NPAP/M70. Name her Зора (Zora). Just got her the other day. I did some "aging" to her, and mixed some stains to give her wood a mossy/old look. Added an extra power recoil spring and did some smoothing up of parts. I cannot wait to take her out!

I love that amd65!!! Hungarian ak's have always been my favorite ( my first ak full auto experience was a amd-65 in Iraq)
