What is the story on ADC. Not a knife expert and know nothing about the company.
Hey! Those Trailbosses have thumb disks!
WAIT!
The Gold & Blue . . . those are the colors of my high school. And Notre Dame.
ARGH!
Must . . . not . . . succumb . . . to the . . . temptation.
That makes your Trailboss rare.....probably worth more than you paid.
Are they in the same price range as the Medfords?
Note: I have 14 Medford knives coming next week. This includes 3 custom models and some of the new Medford models....I will be the first direct dealer in the U.S. receiving some of these new models.
Really dig those mini butchers. I'm still dreaming of a Strider though.
AdV > Medford > Strider !!!
Did I show you my Butcher when I saw you last?
I've never used a Medford, but I've used a couple of AdV knives some. They are amazing slicers even thought they are thick at the spine. The Trailboss in particular lays waste to meat in its path. The key is the blade is wide enough that with the flat grind, it's thin at the edge. Very slicey even though it's not obvious when you see how beefy it is.
